The Kings Weston House Short Loop Bristol Walk Fest

Kings Weston is a mid- to late-18th-century park, laid out with advice from Lancelot Brown. It also contains the remains of the formal layout dating from Sir John Vanbrugh's early-18th-century redevelopment of an earlier house and park. The house is now used for corporate and private events, offices and a cafe.

The Kings Weston Action Group have been in charge of preserving and enhancing the historic landscape around the house since April 2012. The remains of the historic park are made of almost 220 acres split in ownership between Bristol City Council and the National Trust whose 93 acres of Shirehampton Park are leased to Shirehampton Golf Club.

The house is not open to the public but there is no admission charge to roam the 300 acres of beautiful parkland. There are mowed lawns, woodlands, fields and grand.
